Seong-Jin Cho to step in with Simon Rattle & Berlin Philharmonic

Seong-Jin Cho to step in for Lang Lang in a debut tour with the Berlin Philharmonic. Yuja Wang will be the other soloist on tour.

In November 2017, pianist Seong-Jin Cho will step in for an indisposed Lang Lang in his debut tour with the Berlin Philharmonic! There will be four concerts with Sir Simon Rattle in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Seoul. Cho will perform Ravel’s G Major Concerto with “its shifts between delicacy and jazz-influenced fervor,” as per the Berlin Philharmonic’s announcement. More details are available here.
