Followers and press alike celebrate the news that conductor Christian Reif signed with Primo Artists for general management this past week!
Christian Reif said: “I’m thrilled to join the rosters of Primo Artists and IMG London! I felt an immediate connection with Charlotte Lee and Bridget Canniere. Their exceptional commitment to their artists speaks for itself and I look forward to working with them!”
The Violin Channel announced the news on their front page. They wrote: “Christian currently serves as Resident Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony – and has recently appeared on stage with the Orchestre National de Lyon, Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Brucknerorchester Linz and the Berkeley Symphony.”
Norman Lebrecht from Slipped Disc featured the news, referring to Reif as “a German-American protege of Alan Gilbert and Michael Tilson Thomas.”
Susan Elliott from Musical America wrote: “Reif, who holds a masters in conducting from Juilliard and a diploma from Mozarteum Salzburg, has signed for general management with Primo Artists.”
