On October 2, 2018, Nicola Benedetti kicks off her season-long residency as the Schubert Club’s first-ever inaugural “Featured Artist”!
The Schubert Club is excited to work with one of the “most sought-after violinists of her generation” as it will give them an “opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with an artist over the course of a season.”
The residency will include Benedetti going to Saint Paul twice during the 2018-2019 season. She will perform as part of Schubert Club Mix in October 2018 and a pair of recitals in the International Artist Series in January 2019.
At the October performance, Nicola will play the three Brahms violin sonatas with pianist Alexei Grynyuk in Minnesota’s downtown space ARIA Mpls – in addition to doing community outreach the day after. Get your tickets here.
You can purchase tickets to the Friday, January 18th and Sunday, January 20th performances here. At the Ordway Concert Hall, she will give the U.S. premiere of a new work for solo violin written for her by Wynton Marsalis.
