Benedetti returns to BBC Proms this summer

As part of the BBC Proms 2015 season unveiling in London yesterday, it was announced that Nicola Benedetti will make two appearances this summer at the Proms, the world’s most famous music festival.

On August 10, 2015, Nicola Benedetti will return to the Royal Albert Hall to perform the beloved Korngold Concerto. This is a concerto Benedetti has made a strong personal mark on to critical acclaim in concerts around the globe. She performs the concerto alongside Kirill Karabits leading the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, with whom she recorded the Korngold Concerto in her top-selling 2013 Decca album “The Silver Violin”.

These three leading musicians pair Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 with Arlene Sierra’s 2013 work ‘Butterflies Remember a Mountain’ in what will be a stunning performance by the Benedetti Elschenbroich Grynyuk Trio.
