Macelaru steps in to lead the Royal Concertgebouw

Cristian Macelaru steps in this week on four days’ notice to lead the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam! He makes his debut with this venerable orchestra at the Concertgebouw with the great pianist Radu Lupu.

The program will feature Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24, Strauss’ Tod und Verklärung and Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture.
