"American Masters: Itzhak" makes its television premiere on October 14, 2018

On Sunday, October 14th at 10pm, Alison Chernick’s film, Itzhak, premieres nationwide as part of the American Masters series on PBS. It will be available to stream the next day here and on PBS apps.

The American Masters: Itzhak production features interviews and appearances by Perlman, his family, friends and fellow musicians — including Billy Joel, Alan Alda, Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky.

One year ago, Itzhak had its world premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Since then it has toured numerous festivals, opened in over 100 theaters in the U.S. and premiered internationally. You can buy it to watch at home on Amazon and iTunes here.

Critics and audiences alike loved the film, garnering praise from top newspapers and writers, in addition to winning best film at festivals such as Palm Springs International Film Festival. Other accolades can be seen below:
