2 Primo artists featured in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra 2024/25 season

Two Primo artists appear with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra this season. On October 4 and 6, Cristian Măcelaru leads the orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6 and “Carnival Overture”, Gabriela Lena Frank’s “Concertino Cusqueño” and Ginastera’s “Variaciones concertantes”. Gemma New conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with soloists Susanna Phillips, Sasha Cooke, Jamez McCorkle, Brandon Cedel and the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, Kevin Puts’ “Hymn to the Sun” and Bach’s Fantasia and Fugue in C minor on March 1 and 2.
